Let the fun begin!

First a shout out to Joe at Elam Landscaping who did the paver work in our backyard. I highly recommend them if you are in the Fremont area - check them out at http://www.elamlandscaping.com/ .

In the beginning they removed all the trees and bushes and existing concrete. As Ulani said over and over, "Bye-bye trees!"

After clearing the area and digging through the hardest dirt in the world (apparently), the gravel was brought in and leveled out in preparation for the pavers.






The pavers were put in one by one.

We put in lights around the main paved area.
